SHINPARK
Within a few
years of its formation, it has consecutive won international competitions and
is currently performing at major European concert venues such as the
Musikverein in Vienna and the Konzerthaus in Berlin, establishing their
position in the music world as the famous piano duo ShinPark.
ShinPark duo
received masterclasses and instruction from renowned pianists such as Daniel
Barenboim, Menahem Pressler, Paul Badura-Skoda and Anne Queffélec. The duo studied
under the world-famous piano duo, Hans-Peter Stenzl & Volker Stenzl(who
were the very first duo professors appointed) and under the piano duo Yaara Tal
& Andreas Groethuysen(who are the first artists under Sony Classical who
released more than 35 albums).
In the summer
of 2015, piano duo ShinPark became the first Asians to win the international
competition held on the island Ischia, Italy, which set the start of making
their name known in the piano duo world. The same year in September, they won
second prize in Germanys leading ARD International Music Competition, held in
Munich. In December 2016 the piano duo won the International Four Hands Piano
Competition in Monaco as the first Asians. Finally, they secured first prize at
the International Schubert Competition in the Czech Republic in April 2017,
unanimous by the votes of the judge panel. ShinPark duo surprised the local
media by not only winning the competition with a large score gap, resulting in
dr opping the second prize, but also by winning the special prize, Schubert's
best interpretation award.
The piano duo
ShinPark c reated a sensation in the piano duo world, is being evaluated to be
making a new history of the piano duo for the first time as a Korean, is
currently performing about 40-50 concerts a year in Europe and Asia.
In September 2021
ShinPark released their first album ¡°ShinPark HADA¡± under the label Universal
Music.
The piano duo
ShinPark, who actively work with admiration for their deep interpretation, is
not only praised on stage, but also by collaborators. The duo
ShinPark has performed with leading symphony orchestras such as the Bavarian
Radio Symphony Orchestra in Germany, the Slovak Philharmonic, the Baltic
Philharmonic Danzig in Poland, the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra in
Monaco, the Nord Deutsche Philharmonie Orchestra in Germany, the Zagreb
Soloists and the KBS Symphony Orchestra and many others. Duo ShinPark
has Invited as a soloist at the 2023 Hanwha Symphonic Festival in Korea, it
became an issue by playing Mozart's concerto for two pianos with a perfect interpretation
and at the 2023 Music in Pyeong Chang International Music Festival, the duo
ShinPark confirmed again that this duo is the best piano duo of our time with a
recital of ShinPark Duo, including the festival of Stravinsky's Rite of spring
with ballet dancers.
In 2024,
concerts and recitals are scheduled not only in Korea, but also in major
European festivals such as Germany, Poland, and Austria. |
